是法國後印象派及新印象派畫家。他的創作風格一方面呈現出極端且細緻的感知力，另一方面又表現出對抽象邏輯的熱情，與近乎數學算式的精確思考。他的代表作《大傑特島的星期日下午》造就了新印象派的出現，改變現代藝術的發展方向。該作品也是19世紀晚期最具代表性的繪畫作品之一。

Georges Pierre Seurat

Georges Seurat is a French Post-Impressionist and Neo-Impressionist painter. His style is characterized by an extreme and delicate perception, a passion for abstract logic, and an almost mathematical precision of thought. His masterpiece, A Sunday Afternoon on the Ile de la Grande Jatte, led to the emergence of the Neo- Impressionism, which changed the direction of modern art. It is also one of the most representative paintings of the late 19th century.
