葛飾北齋
1760年10月31日~1849年5月10日
日本江戶城人(即今日東京),江戶時代末期浮世繪大師,化政文化代表人物。多才多藝的北齋自六歲起便鍾愛描繪各種事物,作品涉獵版畫、水墨、圖書插畫等,其中以浮世繪《富嶽三十六景》以及出版15冊、長達35年的《北齋漫畫》為其最具代表性作品。
Katsushika Hokusai

Katsushika Hokusai was a native of Edo (today’s Tokyo), a master of ukiyo-e at the end of the Edo period, and a representative figure of Kasei culture. His works include woodblock prints, ink wash paintings and book illustrations, among which the ukiyo-e painting “Thirty-Six Views of Mount Fuji” and the 15-volume “Hokusai Manga”, which was published for 35 years are his most representative works.
