原畫介紹：

荷花（館藏編號26897）

國立歷史博物館藏《荷花》為常玉作品之一；畫面中以黑色線條勾勒的白荷帶有中國傳統水墨畫的風味，荷葉用大塊的銘黃填色，花莖的生長與排列疏落有致，彷彿在微風中輕輕搖曳著。畫面呈現出和諧安靜的氣氛，簡潔嚴謹的構圖不落俗套，成功地表現了荷花高雅的姿態，為畫家之精心傑作。

常玉（1901 年10 月14 日～ 1966 年8 月12 日）

出生於中國四川順慶（1935 年改名南充），是早期留法學習藝術創作的中國畫家之一。他的作品融合了中國與西方藝術特色，經常利用簡潔有力的線條、造形與輪廓呈現獨特的個人風格，繪畫造形簡練、色彩單純，裸女、植物花卉、有動物的風景為其三大創作主題。

Sanyu (14 October 1901 – 12 August 1966)

Sanyu was born in Shunqing, Sichuan, China (renamed Nanchong in 1935), and was one of the early Chinese painters who studied art in France. His works integrate Chinese and Western artistic characteristics, often utilizing simple and powerful lines, shapes, and contours to present an unique personal style. His paintings are characterized by simple forms and colors, with three main themes: nude women, plants and flowers, and landscapes with animals.
