最後的戰象－大兵林旺．再見吧叢林
林旺原是英國在緬甸森林的工作象，被日本第18 師團菊兵團充當運輸象，後被中國遠征軍俘虜。13 頭象協助滇緬公路興建，抗戰勝利隨中國遠征軍奉調返國，經千餘公里長途跋涉，僅剩林旺等7 頭大象倖存走到廣州。此插圖描寫林旺和中國遠征軍打敗日本菊兵團，走出緬甸森林。

Born in 1962 in remote islands — Kinmen County, Alan Lee published many children’s picture books and won many awards, including the Golden Tripod Award for the best book in picture books for children and teeagers category, the Feng Zikai Children’s Picture Book Award, and the “Good Book for Everyone” award of Taipei Public Library.

The Last War Elephant – Private Lin Wang – Farewell Jungle Originally belonging to the British working elephants in the forests of Burma, Lin Wang was later used as a transport elephant by the Japanese 18th Division (Chrysanthemum Division) and later captured by the Chinese Expeditionary Force. Thirteen elephants assisted in the construction of the Burma Road and returned to China with the Chinese Expeditionary Force after the victory of the war. At last only seven elephants survived the long trek of more than 1,000 kilometers to Guangzhou. This illustration depicts Lin Wang and the Chinese Expeditionary Force defeating the Japanese 18th Division and coming out of the forest in Burma.
