阿爾豐斯．慕夏
1860年7月24日～1939年7月14日

捷克籍畫家與裝飾藝術家，早年赴法國求學，成名於1871～1914的「美好年代」，是新藝術運動的代表性人物。早期海報作品以端莊優雅的女性人物形象和唯美的線條聞名，形成獨有風格。50歲時返回家鄉波西米亞，耗費15年時間創作巨幅系列油畫《斯拉夫史詩》，並在捷克斯洛伐克獨立十周年之際，將畫作獻予首都布拉格。

Alfons Maria Mucha
24 July 1860 – 14 July 1939

Alfons Mucha was a Czech painter and decorative artist who studied in France at an early age and became famous in the “Belle Epoque” from 1871 to 1914. At the age of 50, he returned to his hometown of Bohemia and spent 15 years creating a large series of oil paintings called “The Slav Epic”, which he submitted to Prague on the 10th anniversary of Czechoslovak independence.
