約翰．柯里爾

是位英國藝術家、作家，能文善畫，風格唯美、細膩，屬於前拉斐爾派。1875年在慕尼黑美術學院學習繪畫。後來擔任英國皇家肖像畫家協會的24名創始人之一，並就任副會長。知名作品包括1898年的《戈黛娃夫人》，畫風審慎而細緻，用色清新，略帶憂鬱情調。

John Maler Collier
27 January 1850 – 11 April 1934

John Collier was an English artist and writer. He studied painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich in 1875. He later became one of the 24 founders and vice-president of the Royal Society of Portrait Painters. His famous works include “Lady Godiva” in 1898, which is a delicate painting with fresh colors and slightly melancholic style.
